Knauf Turkey office is based in Ankara, with 2 plants and 4 quarries serving the Turkish market and exports of our product. We’ve been producing high quality, market-leading gypsum building products for 91 years. Knauf Turkey is a part of Knauf Middle East, Africa & South Asia (MEASA) which is one of Knauf Group's regions. Our 2100 strong team including 350 Turkey team is growing and we are looking for passionate, ambitious people to help us achieve our goals. - To execute the company’s financial strategy?
- To monitor financial markets closely, to investigate developments, to take precautions or to create opportunities from their effects?
What you’ll be doing:
- Developing growth plans that will increase company profits while reducing expenses and comparing them with the past,
- Coordinating with the CFO on the policies and procedures adopted regarding accounting, cash management, treasury, and budgeting,
- Monitoring financial performance with income statements and balance sheets,
- Preparing financial reports, including but not limited to Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and Financial Statements Analysis, and presenting these reports to the CFO,
- Coordinating with the sales department in creating customer receivable accounts and collecting payments from customers according to their due dates,
- Working in coordination with internal and external auditors to ensure reliable examination of financial transactions and existing accounting systems,
- Ensuring the preparation of the annual budget,
- Carrying out all bank-related activities such as deposits and bank loans, as well as receivable and debit transactions,
- Determining the scope of duties of direct reporters; planning and making performance evaluations,
- Planning technical and soft skill trainings of all personnel and providing feedback.

- Business-oriented degree such as Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance; Master degree is preferable,
- 10 years of experience in similar role,
- Proficient in budget planning, balance sheet, financial statement analysis, and financial management reporting processes,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively,
- Ability to think analytically and to represent the institution,
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills,
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications,
- Knowledge of accounting legislation,
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and with global teams,
- Fluent in English,
- Residency/ To be able to reside in Ankara.
