Knauf Egypt; one of the leading companies in Gypsum boards and all affiliated components of Drywall Systems in Egypt is hiring a “Project Document Controller” in the Company Project located in the plant at the city of Attaqa, Suez.

Key Facts & Profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Excellent Computer knowledge, document management software, MS Windows and MS Office applications, etc.
• Minimum of 3 years professional experience as a Document Controller
• Experience of preparing submissions to meet contractual requirements
• Very good in English, both written and spoken
• Independent and structured approach to work
• Flexible team player with attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent Project Management skills.
• Ability to work in a Team (team player).

Job Requirements:

• Responsible for project document-related planning, controlling, monitoring, and reporting.
• Establishes and maintain relevant procedures in accordance with the contract / customer / consultant / onshore and offshore project team (templates, review and release procedures, submission procedures, translation procedures, Electronic Document Management Systems such (Microsoft SharePoint - Microsoft OneDrive) and ensures that these procedures will be followed and applied.

• Standardized reporting on the current state of Project documents.
• Definition, creation, updating and communication of the project-specific document management plan including all interfaces of document management to be described, as an alternative, provision of a description in the project management plan.
• Submits documents to customer and monitors and controls the document status within the relevant deadlines
• Responsible for archiving of documents in accordance with company rules
• Checking of compliance with the activities described in the document management plan.
